How about a side of common sense?

Posted on Tuesday 6 December 2005

I don’t understand people who have SUV’s. I really don’t.

Do they think that just because they don’t see the snow on the top of their monstrosity, that it doesn’t exist? And that it’s not really there? It’s that whole out of sight, out of mind thing, isn’t it?

There’s absolutely nothing worse than driving behind one of them and getting pelted with all the snow that’s coming from the top of their vehicle. Especially after I’ve spent the last 20 minutes cleaning up my car. Newsflash people they make these things called extended winter brushes; they also go by the name of telescopic brushes. And if that’s still too hard for you to comprende, there’s this thing that’s been out for sometime now that will work just as well. It’s called a damn broom.

And don’t give me crap about how you can’t reach. You can. Just put some effort into it. Open one of your doors and stand on the inside. Luxurious leather be damned. Throw your children on top armed with shovels. I don’t care.

But drive off with a foot and a half of snow on top of your roof, and I end up behind you? Then I’ll care.

And prolly end up passing you and giving you the finger.

I admit I am an SUV driver. However I haven’t driven mine in the snow yet. I am curteous and promise to brush the snow off the top for the sake of Pjays everywhere. :)
