No other way to say it other than the Kiddo is pregnant. If my calculations are correct it took us roughly 2 weeks to get pregnant. Of course that was proceded by 4 weeks of over thinking and analyzing on our parts. But hey, that’s how you learn stuff, isn’t it?
She hasn’t had any morning sickness at all and her appetite while never great to begin with, is somewhat steady. She’s already sent me out on a curly fry run - I can’t wait for the 2AM ice cream cravings and subsequent run to 7-11.
But all in all, we’re real excited and happy. We’ve been to Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us more times that I can recall and fear that we will soon be given the keys to the place, if not out own shopping carts.
Her due date is May 5th - yes that May 5th - Cinco de Mayo. We’re back and forth between several different names and fully anticpate it going down to the wire in choosing - as in, we’ll be deciding in the delivery room, moments before we sign the birth certificate. Or wherever it is we do end up signing.
So in an otherwise shitty year, some good news is always a good thing.
