Korin is currently having a sale which normally would bring me much glee. Unfortunately all they have on sale under knives, is an 8 pc knife bag. I was hoping to snag a new chef’s knife for $100-150 but not this time around. Lots of tableware and kitchenware however…
In other knife news, saw an article in the paper about a Brooklyn guy who makes knives. I’m not sure what the attraction is at this point as I’ve never seen or heard about his knives before. But according to him his knives last longer and stay sharper than others. Plus he services [sharpens?] all his knives. They are up there in price but it’s possible it could be worth it. He’s in downtown Brooklyn so the next time I’m in the mood for pizza, I’ll see if I can check his stuff out.
