Of course that’s if you started the Blog 365 on the 1st of the year. Of course my fashionably late self signs up today. Which is weird because I wanted to do Project 365 and was actually amped for it – until the paranoia of carrying my Nikon D40 with me everywhere set in. From dropping it onto the train tracks, to being arrested for taking pictures that aren’t allowed in a public place due to “security concerns”, I just couldn’t force myself to bring it to work on the subway and then back home again. Not having a camera case was part of it too, but definitely not the main reason. I could use a point and shoot that I have lying around but that would defeat the purpose of actually using the D40 in order to learn everything about it. I’ve thought about cheating and taking and then posting a week’s worth of pictures, on the weekend – and will probably go that route.

But the blogging I think I can manage. Here goes nothing…
